Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Pakhtakor Tashkent started CIS and Baltic Cup with 1-1 draw against Russian champion’s Rubin in Moscow, Russia.

Last year runner-ups Pakhtakor played attacking football in the first half and Alexander Geynrikh opened the score in the 13 minute.

In the second half, the Uzbek club attacked the Russian club. But Hasan Kabze scored equalizer in the 51st minute.

In the other match of the group, Kazakhstan’s Aktobe edged past Ararat of Armenia 3-1.

Today, Pakhtakor will face Ararat, while Rubin play against Aktobe.
