The club said that Pakhtakor signed Jora Oganesyan, Ildar Mamatkazin, Aleksander Merzlyakov and Anvar Rajabov.

Pakhtakor vice-president Samvel Babayan said that Anvar Rajabov has injury and will join the club only in the second half of the season.

Ildar Mamatkazin said that he was surprised with invitation to Pakhtakor. He said he joined the club after talks. He expressed hope that he will try to impress fans.

Jora Oganesyan said management of Pakhtakor showed great trust to him. He said that he does not sorry for his transfer and he will do his best to clinch Uzbek title again in new season.

Aleksander Merzlyakov stated that he is pleased that he will play for one of the strongest team of Uzbekistan. He hoped that Pakhtakor will achieve goods results in the Champions League.

Samvel Babayan added that the team had problems in defence. Bojan Miladinovic was sidelined with injury, while Yegor Krimets was loaned to Chinese club. Defender Ilhom Suyunov decided to join foreign club, but Babayan added that the team will welcome him back if his move falls through.
