Pakhtakor press service said that the sides signed a corresponding agreement. Ahmedov underwent medical examination and signed contract with the Russian club.

The Uzbek club said that Pakhtakor keeps right to Odil Ahmedov as the player has long-term contract with the Uzbekistan 2010 vice champions.

Odil Ahmedov said that he is satisfied with move to stronger league. He said he will try to his abilities in Russia and will do his best to meet expectations of the fans.

At the same time, Pakhtakor said it received official proposals for Odil Ahmedov only from two clubs – Anji and Al Shabab of Saudi Arabia. All teams, citied in mass media and blogs, did not officially contact the club.

The club said that Pakhtakor took into account desire of the player to play in stronger league, accepting the offer of the Russian club.
