Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Five players of the main team of Pakhtakor were tested positive for coronavirus. The press service of the club said in a statement.

Since the discovery of the first people infected with coronavirus in our country, football players and club employees have taken tests on a regular basis at the Pakhtakor football club.

After five players felt unwell and their tests came out positive, the rest of the players and staff took the tests again. After the 9th round match against AGMK, some of the players had health problems, and training was temporarily suspended.

At the moment, 5 players who have been diagnosed with coronavirus are in isolation, and the process of their treatment has already begun.

Players are constantly under medical supervision and provided with all the necessary means.
