Doniyorjon Usmonov's own goal on the stroke of half-time gave the hosts the lead and Aleksandr Geynrikh extended it shortly after the break. Geynrikh claimed his second and Pakhtakor's third on the hour mark before Abdumalik Abdullaev pulled a goal back for Navbakhor.

Leaders Bunyodkor were held to a goalless draw at Shurtan to see their advantage reduced by their city rivals. Nasaf stay third as Ilhom Shamuradov's late goal sealed a 2-1 win at Neftchi.

Shavkat Salomov put Nasaf in front after 35 minutes and although Alisher Halikov levelled in the 69th minute, Shamuradov's late intervention secured the points. Khorezm remain rooted to the bottom of the table despite a 1-1 draw with Andijan.

Andijan took the lead eight minutes before the break when Shukhratbek Mirholdirshaev scored but Zafar Palvanov hit back for Khorezm in the 57th minute. Elsewhere, Evgeniy Gogol's strike four minutes from the end gave Locomotive Tashkent a 1-0 win over Qyzylqum Zarafshan, while the match between Metallurg Bekabad and Samarqand Dynamo finished in a stalemate.
