Pakhtakor defeats Bukhara in Uzbek league
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Pakhtakor moved to the top of Uzbekistan's Oliy Liga after 1-0 victory over Bukhara at home, and handed the first loss of the season to their visitors in the process.
Dusan Savic scored the only goal of the match just after half-time, which was enough to secure the win for the Tashkent side, moving them three points above city rivals Bunyodkor. But Bunyodkor has one match in hand.
Bukhara remains fourth in the table with 11 points and are now five points adrift of the leaders, who have 16 points.
