Pakhtakor-1997 to play for third place at Turkmenistan President Cup

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Team of Football Academy of Pakhtakor Tashkent, consisting of the players born on 1997, lost to Turkmenistan with the score 4-0 in the semifinals of Turkmenistan President Cup, Uzbekistan Football Federation said.

Pakhtakor club defeated Belarus with the score 2-1 and Tajikistan with the score 7-0 and lost to Russia with the score 2-0 to advance to semifinals.

In the semifinals, Uzbek club suffered a 4-0 defeat at the hand of hosts Turkmenistan. Now, Pakhtakor will face Kyrgyzstan for the third place. The match will be played on 19 September.
