Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Ozon Uzbekistan has announced the start of cooperation with the national postal operator UzPost, significantly expanding delivery capabilities across the country.
Now, Ozon customers can receive their orders, including goods from Russia, at more than 685 UzPost branches in ten cities: Tashkent, Namangan, Samarkand, Andijan, Fergana, Nukus, Kokand, Bukhara, Karshi, and Margilan. Delivery from Russia takes about two weeks and is provided free of charge.
In the future, the network will be expanded to over 1,600 UzPost branches, which will increase the number of Ozon pickup points in Uzbekistan by seven times. This will significantly improve the availability of marketplace services for residents in remote regions.
Jamshid Zakhidov, head of Ozon in Uzbekistan, emphasized that cooperation with UzPost is an important step towards providing customers with convenient and accessible services without geographical limitations. Alisher Faizullaev, CEO of UzPost, noted that this partnership brings UzPost even closer to its customers, making the postal operator’s services an integral part of everyday life.
Ozon, which entered the Uzbek market in 2023, offers a wide range of products from more than 20 categories. The company is actively investing in the development of e-commerce in the country, including the opening of its own sorting center in Tashkent (October 2024) and the development of a franchise network. Ozon also supports Uzbek entrepreneurs in exporting goods to Russia.
