Rizoqul Keldiyorov, chairman of the Board of O’zmarkazimpeks, said there are three companies in Uzbekistan, which hold license to export cotton-fiber. O’zmarkazimpeks annually exports 300,000 tonnes of cotton-fiber.
O’zmarkazimpeks chief said the visit of the delegation is aimed at studying production capacities of the enterprises in the Russian region and develop existing business contacts.
Pavel Konkov said the region decreased cotton-fiber production. He said the region’s textile enterprises need 100,000 tonnes of cotton-fiber a year.
He said it is important for the region to cooperate with one of the largest cotton exporters such as O’zmarkazimpeks. The government of the region is ready actively to participate in strengthening of businesses contacts between Ivanova producers and the Uzbek suppliers.
O’zmarkazimpeks was founded in 1998. The company export cotton-fiber and textile products.
