Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan has nearly doubled its television imports.

According to the National Statistics Committee, 90,099 televisions worth a total of US$19 million were imported into the country between January and June 2025.

This figure exceeded last year’s result by 43,455 units, marking a 93.1 percent increase.

The main suppliers of televisions to Uzbekistan in the first half of the year were China (63,447 units), Vietnam (10,240), Kazakhstan (7,410), Indonesia (5,652), and India (2,918). An additional 432 televisions were imported from other countries.
