Over 500,000 subscribers use UZMOBILE GSM services

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Over 500,000 people are using services of UZMOBILE, a national mobile operator of Uzbekistan, on the base of GSM technology, the company said.

UZMOBILE launched its GSM network in Tashkent city and Tashkent region on 15 April 2015. Before that, the operator has been rendering services on CDMA technology since 2004.

During short period since launch of GSM, hundred thousands of subscribers joined to UZMOBILE GSM in Tashkent and Tashkent region.

In the end of December, UZMOBILE also launched its GSM network in the centers of the Uzbek regions.

Currently, it is working on installing new base stations in order to cover all Uzbekistan.
