Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Academician Ibrohim Abdurakhmonov met at the Tajik State University with Uzbek students studying in higher educational institutions of Tajikistan.

The students had the opportunity to talk with the minister.

The Minister spoke about his childhood in a remote village, his student years in the capital and the time when he was a young scientist. He shared his life examples that encouraged him to study and get acquainted with science.

Emphasizing the wide opportunities for young people in the field of education and science, the meeting noted the strengthening of relations between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan in the field of higher education and science.

Students received answers to their questions and expressed their suggestions. Issues of recognition of diplomas of students studying in higher educational institutions of both countries, creation of opportunities for studying in the magistracy, employment of graduates were discussed.
