Over 402,390 vehicles sold in Uzbekistan in 2024

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In 2024, a total of 402,391 vehicles were sold in Uzbekistan, according to the joint-stock company UzAutoSanoat (Uzbek Car Industry).

The market leader remained UzAuto Motors, which accounted for 353,730 units, representing 87.9% of total sales.

Second place was secured by ADM Jizzakh, with 30,329 vehicles sold, holding a 7.5% market share.

BYD Uzbekistan Factory rounded out the top three, selling 17,132 vehicles and capturing 4.3% of the market.

Other players in the market showed small shares, including Asaka Motors with 489 vehicles sold, Jizzakh Auto with 394 units, and SamAuto, which sold 317 vehicles. Each of these companies represented less than 0.1% of the market.

Among automotive brands, Chevrolet emerged as the absolute leader in sales, with 353,730 vehicles sold in 2024.

The top five brands also included KIA, with 19,468 units sold, BYD with 17,132, Chery with 7,545, and Haval with 3,316 vehicles sold.

The most popular model in Uzbekistan in 2024 was the Chevrolet Cobalt, with 127,240 units sold.

Other top-selling models included the Chevrolet Damas with 106,001 units, Chevrolet Tracker with 37,903, Chevrolet Onix with 33,644, Chevrolet Labo with 25,319, and Chevrolet Lacetti with 18,327 vehicles.

Completing the top ten were KIA Sonet with 7,752 units, BYD Song Plus Champion DMI with 6,479, BYD Chazor with 4,522, and Chery Tiggo 7 PRO, which sold 3,491 units.
