"A resident of Surkhandarya Region’s Uzun District, Subhonqul Yunusov, committed a grave crime by attempting to smuggle drugs from Tajikistan via bypass roads for some money. Officers from the National Security Service’s Surkhandarya regional directorate detained the drug smuggler... and found 3.625 kg of heroin on him," the report said, adding that thus another attempt to smuggle drugs from neighbouring Tajikistan to Uzbekistan was foiled.
