Early voting at the presidential elections in Uzbekistan was started on 24 November 2016.

Mirzo-Ulugbek Abdusalomov said that the process of the early voting will wrap up on 2 December 2016.

According to the article 31 of the Law “On elections of the President of Uzbekistan”, the voters, who cannot cast their votes at their residence place, have right to cast early vote.

In line with the legislation of Uzbekistan, early voting will start ten days before elections and end one day before the election day.

So, the early voting started on 24 November and will end 2 December 2016.

It is expected that over 21.4 million citizens will cast their votes in the presidential elections, which will be held on 4 December 2016.
