The company said it launched free tours to Carlsberg Uzbekistan on 12 May 2008 and over 2,500 people visited plant to find answers on production of such beer brands as Sarbast, Tuborg and Baltika and equipments and raw materials, used in their production.
Farkhad Niyazov, Carlsberg Uzbekistan’s Corporate Relations Director, said: “We are inspired with the fact that at least 2,500 people now have clear understanding how real beer produced. Our plant is the most modern brewery in Central Asia.”
Brewery plant of Carlsberg Uzbekistan was commissioned in autumn 2007. The capacity of the plant is 100 million liters or 200 million glass bottles of bear with the capacity of 0.5 liter. The company produces Sarbast Original, Sarbast Extra, Sarbast Special, Tuborg Green, «Baltika No. 3 Classic and Baltika No.9 Strong.
