Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 23-29 October, the Cinema Agency of Uzbekistan is holding cultural and educational events under the motto "Yangi Uzbekistonda el aziz, inson aziz" ("The people are dear to the New Uzbekistan, the people are dear") in Namangan. The events are held as part of the Kinokaravan campaign. In this regard, a creative team of over 200 filmmakers arrived in Namangan region on 23 October.
These days there are screenings of national films, concert programs and creative meetings with famous artists and filmmakers. In total, the audience will be presented with over 15 feature and documentary films, including such sensational films as: “Baron-2. Return”, “101 Flights”, “The Fate of a Woman”, “Legacy”, “Spring of Love” and many others.
“You know, the film “Legacy” impressed me a lot. It is very believable and calls us to appreciate the Motherland and live with the understanding that peace is our greatest wealth. It is in the power of every person to live a peaceful and happy life, just as there is an opportunity to destroy it. The picture reminds us how important it is to be conscious,” shared one of the residents of Namangan.
During creative meetings in Namangan, the following People’s Artists of Uzbekistan perform: Dilorom Karimova, Muhammadsoli Yusupov, Honored Artists of Uzbekistan Abdukhalil Mignorov, Matyokub Matchanov, Gulchehra Sadullayeva, Anvar Azimov, Alisher Otaboev, as well as Mukarrama Bekmurodova, Khurshid Tokhtaev, Dilshodbek Kattabekov, Maruf Otajonov, Khushnud Saifuddinov, Otabek Khakberdiev. The creative team also included such filmmakers as: Farhod Khudoiberdiev, Ulugbek Yunusov, Bobur Arslanov, Khilol Nasimov, Fatih Nasimov, Akmal Nazarov, Zukhriddin Rejametov.
“We are artists and cinematographers who are part of the creative group “Kinokaravan” with joy and great enthusiasm, arrived in Namangan. The Valley is home to wonderful people who appreciate art and creativity. We get great pleasure from creative meetings, showings of new domestic films with their subsequent discussion,” said Honored Artist of Uzbekistan, Gulchekhra Sadullayeva.
Within the framework of the “Kinokaravan” action, the Cinema Agency organizes trips of famous filmmakers throughout the country. Participants can get acquainted with the latest cinema, take part in creative conversations.
