Over 185,620 Passenger Cars Produced in Uzbekistan in the First Half of 2025

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In the first half of 2025, a total of 185,622 passenger cars were produced in Uzbekistan, according to data released by the National Statistics Committee.

The largest share of production came from UzAuto Motors. In the six months of this year, the company manufactured 73,102 Cobalt vehicles, a figure that nearly matches the same period in 2024, reflecting a modest increase of 0.2%. Production of the Damas model reached 45,992 units, up by 18.1%, while 22,847 Tracker vehicles were produced, marking a 6.3% rise. The Onix model saw a slight decline, with 17,249 units produced — 1% less than in the same period last year.

Additionally, from January through June, the country produced 4,131 Chery vehicles (a slight decrease of 0.7%), 11,763 KIA vehicles (an increase of 26.9%), 3,538 Haval vehicles (a six-and-a-half-fold increase), and 7,000 BYD vehicles.

During the same reporting period, 23,351 specialized passenger vehicles were also produced — an 82.4% increase compared to the first half of 2024.
