Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – According to preliminary data from the State Statistics Committee, Uzbekistan welcomed 17,700 Italian tourists between January and June 2024.

This figure represents an increase of 9,300 people, or 91%, compared to the same period of last year.

The breakdown of Italian visitors to Uzbekistan in the first half of 2024 is as follows:

• Tourism: 16,088 people
• Business: 835 people
• Visiting relatives: 702 people
• Education: 66 people
• Commercial: 9 people
