Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - A government resolution has been adopted “On measures for the construction, reconstruction and overhaul of sports facilities and the strengthening of their material and technical base in children and youth sports schools, secondary schools of the republic in 2020-2024”.

In accordance with the resolution, in 2020–2022:

- in the republic, a total of 178 sports facilities will be built, reconstructed and overhauled in children’s and youth sports schools throughout the republic. Over 1.14 trillion soums will be allocated for this.

In secondary schools, 52 new sports halls will be built, 89 reconstructed.

Until 1 October 2019, standard projects for children and youth sports schools will be reviewed.
