Representatives of international cooperation organizations and regional organizations participated at the work of the session.
OSJD is an international organization founded on 28 June in 1956 in Sofia. The organization unites 27 states, including Azerbaijan, Albania, Belarus, Bulgaria, Hungary, Vietnam, Georgia, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Estonia, North Korea, Cuba, Kyrgyz Republic, Moldavia, Mongolia, Slovakia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
Main task of the OSJD is to improve system of international cargo and passenger transportation, creation of single railway space in Eurasia, improve competitiveness of transcontinental railway routes, etc.
At the session, the participants considered development of OSJD Convention and other documents of the organization on regulating passenger and cargo transportation in international level.
They also discussed issues of railway transportation policy and measures directed at improving transportation and development of transport corridors of the OSJD, improve border passing at international passenger and cargo transportation, improve competitiveness of railroads, etc.
