Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  Orifjon Fayziev has been appointed Deputy Director of the National Agency for Prospective Projects (NAPP) of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Fayziev, born in 1982 in the Bukhara region, has extensive experience in various government structures. He graduated from Tashkent State Economic University in 2003 and the Banking and Finance Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2017.

He began his career in the banking sector in 2004 and later served in the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 2009 to 2017. From 2018 to 2019, he worked at the National Project Management Agency, and from 2019 to 2022, he held the positions of Deputy Head of Department and Director of the Department at the State Tax Committee.

Since 2023, before his new appointment, Fayziev worked as the Head of the Insurance Market Development Department at NAPP.
