Order of taking hard currency abroad changed
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Central Bank of Uzbekistan approved a new regulation on order of issuing permissions to the individual residence of Uzbekistan to take cash hard currency by the Central Bank of Uzbekistan.

Norma.uz said that the residents of Uzbekistan should obtain permission of the Central Bank to take cash hard currency at the size of over US$5,000 to abroad.

The document said that the permissions are issued to persons, who will travel abroad along with the governmental delegation in line with order of the Cabinet, moving abroad for permanent residence, business travel and study, as well as other purpose (travel, medical treatment, visit of relatives, participation in sport competitions, etc).

The individuals should submit an application, copy of passport, permission to travel abroad (if required), copy of document, confirming source of hard currency), copy of order on sending person to business travel if person travels abroad for business trip, copy of order of the Cabinet of Ministers if the person travels abroad with the governmental delegation and other documents, affirming goal of travel to abroad (if exists).

The document said that the permission or refusal will be issued not later than 10 days after submission of the application.

The permission will be issued in two copies, one of them will be given to individual, while the second will be kept by the Central Bank of Uzbekistan. The permission is valid within three months.
