Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Government of Uzbekistan has approved a new regulation (Resolution No. 910 from 30 December 2024) that governs the procedure for remote monitoring of the compliance of government bodies and organizations with obligations set forth in legal acts related to ensuring transparency.
According to this document, a remote monitoring system is being introduced, which includes the main principles, conditions for its implementation, and the procedures for reviewing and applying corrective actions in case of identified violations.
The Anti-Corruption Agency will carry out the control of the transparency of government operations remotely.
The monitoring can be planned or unplanned, with no prior notification of its initiation required.
If violations are identified during the inspection, a protocol is drafted and sent to the relevant government body or organization.
The violations recorded in the protocol are formalized as an official document with legal force.
Upon receiving this document, government bodies and organizations are required to review it within 10 days and submit a written report on the actions taken to the Anti-Corruption Agency.
