Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 13 August 2020, an online seminar on the topic "Changes in the tax system" was held via Zoom by the Human resources department of the Ministry of Finance and the Training Center under the Ministry of Finance.

The seminar was attended by employees of the central office and all structural divisions of the Ministry of Finance.

The seminar was conducted by Nasiba Aripova, senior lecturer of the Department of public finance of the Training Center. In the course of the seminar, a thorough analysis of the regulatory and legal documents adopted recently in the field of public finance was presented, the essence of the new edition of the Tax Code and the features of tax reform, as well as changes made to the tax system during the coronavirus pandemic, the share of taxes in the structure state budget revenues, established tax rates for 2020, special tax regimes, types of tax control were all highlighted. Information on the measures taken to support the population and business entities during the pandemic, as well as an analysis of tax revenues in the 1st half of 2020 were also provided. In addition, when covering the topic, N. Aripova used slides, infographics and videos based on modern methods of conducting training sessions.

The online seminar attracted significant interest among participants. At the end of the seminar, the participants received answers to their questions.

The primary goal of conducting the seminar was the development of knowledge, qualifications, skills and potential of employees based on the principle of Human resource development, as well as the development of professional skills and increasing the efficiency of their activities.

It should be noted that the organization of such online seminars is planned until the end of 2020, and they will be held monthly.
