Oman, Uzbek commerce ministers discuss cooperation in investment, fuel sectors

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 8 September, Maqbool bin Ali bin Sultan, Minister of Commerce and Industry of Oman, received Elyor Ganiyev, Foreign Economic Relations, Investment and Trade Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan and his accompanying delegation currently visiting the Sultanate.

The meeting discussed ways of enhancing and improving bilateral relations between the two countries in the economic and trade fields and investment in oil, gas and petrochemical sectors, Oman News Agency reported.

The meeting also discussed facilitating the transfer of goods between the two countries by the railway that links Iran with Uzbekistan through Bandar Abbas port, the report said.
