Oman abolishes friendly match with Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
A friendly match between national teams of Uzbekistan and Oman in Tashkent has been abolished on the initiative of the Oman Football Association.
Uzbekistan Football Federation said that the sides agreed to hold friendly match in Tashkent on 27 May 2012.
The Uzbek federation said it received a letter from the Oman Football Association, which says that Oman national team cannot play friendly match on the day due to changes in calendar of Oman national championship.
Oman Football Association expressed its apology and added that in future they can schedule another friendly match.
