Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – The draw for the judo competitions at the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics has taken place.

Following the draw, Uzbek judokas will face the following opponents on the French tatami:

• Under 60 kg: Doston Ruziyev will compete against Dilshod Khormatov from Ukraine.
• Under 66 kg: Sardor Nurillaev will face William Lima from Brazil.
• Under 73 kg: Murodzhon Yuldoshev will battle Daniyar Shamshaev from Kazakhstan.
• Under 81 kg: Sharofiddin Boltaboev will meet Sehen from Iraq.
• Under 90 kg: Davlat Bobonov will go up against Aram Grigoryan from the UAE.
• Under 100 kg: Muzaffarbek Turaboev will face either Nurlikhan Sharkan from Kazakhstan or Toma Nikiforov from Belgium.
• Over 100 kg: Alisher Yusupov will compete against either Nakani’eili Takayava from Fiji or Marius Fisel from Slovakia.
• Under 48 kg: Khalima Kurbonova will take on Leyla Aliyeva from Azerbaijan.
• Under 52 kg: Diyorah Keldiyeva will fight either Uta Abe from Japan or Kelly Deguchi from Canada.
• Under 57 kg: Shukurjon Aminova will face Dabone from Côte d’Ivoire.
• Under 70 kg: Gulnoza Matniyazova will go up against Mun Son Hi from North Korea.
• Under 78 kg: Irisxon Kurbonboeva will meet Riki Takayama from Japan.

In the mixed team event, Uzbekistan will face Canada in the Round of 16.

The judo competitions will commence on 27 July.
