Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Olympic boxing champion Asadkhuja Muydinkhujaev was fined for speeding, reports the Tashkent Traffic Safety Department (UBDD).
The boxer posted a video on social media where he violated traffic regulations, driving a Chevrolet Tahoe, which was gifted to him by the President of Uzbekistan, at a speed of 110 km/h on the streets of Tashkent.
UBDD officers issued an administrative protocol under Article 128-3 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility for speeding and conducted a preventive conversation with the driver. The athlete is now required to pay a fine of 9 basic calculation units, which amounts to 3.06 million soums.
It should be recalled that Asadkhuja Muydinkhujaev won a gold medal at the Paris Olympic Games in the weight category up to 71 kg. As a reward, he received a Chevrolet Tahoe, 200,000 dollars, and a cottage.
