Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution “On measures to organize and conduct the Oltin Davr International Music Fair”.
Within the framework of international music conferences and festivals organized by the Ministry of Culture, from 2021 the International Music Fair “Oltin Davr” (Golden Age) will be held.
The costs of organizing and holding the fair will be covered by the Fund for the Development of Culture and Arts under the Ministry of Culture and sponsorship from legal entities and individuals.
Within the framework of organizing and holding the fair, the Ministry of Culture as the organizer is responsible for:
coordination of all organizational and creative work with relevant ministries and departments;
formation of a list of participants who have expressed a desire to participate in the fair of foreign experts, artists and art critics, and attracting them to the fair;
holding a fair at a high artistic level with extensive use of modern technologies.
The Resolution approved the Regulation on the procedure for holding the International Music Fair. It notes that it is being held with the aim of strengthening cultural ties between Uzbekistan and foreign countries and the further development of international cooperation, promoting unique masterpieces of Uzbek national music on a global scale.
Special attention in the Regulation is paid to the issues of fair financing. Thus, foreign participants, with the exception of those invited, cover the costs of travel, accommodation and meals themselves. Local participants are covered by the organizer.
