Olimjon Umarov appointed as First Deputy ICT Minister
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution on appointing the first deputy minister for development of information technologies and communications on 29 June 2017.
According to the presidential resolution, Olimjon Umarov was appointed to the post of first deputy minister for development of information technologies and communications.
Prior to the appointment, he worked as the head of the Information and Communication Technologies Department of the Ministry for development of information technologies and communications of Uzbekistan.
