The exchange rate of the US dollar reached 4,200 soums, growing by 28.05 soums compared to previous week to 4,210.35 soums.

Compared to the beginning of 2017, the exchange rate of the US dollar to Uzbek soums rose by 30.3%. In 2016, the exchange rate of the US compared to Uzbek soums rose by 15%.

Central Bank of Uzbekistan sets rates of foreign currencies to Uzbek soums for accounting, statistic and other reporting on currency operations, as well as for calculation of customs and other obligatory payments. Central Bank of Uzbekistan sets the rates without any obligations to purchase or sell currencies on these rates.
