The exchange rate of the US dollar reached 2,900 soums, growing by 5.42 soums compared to previous week to 2,904.68 soums.

The exchange rate of the US dollar to Uzbek soum rose by almost 88.21 soums or 3.13% (2,816.47 soums) since the beginning of 2016.

The rate of the US dollar passed the level of 2,800 soums in late of December 2015.

Central Bank of Uzbekistan sets rates of foreign currencies to Uzbek soums for accounting, statistic and other reporting on currency operations, as well as for calculation of customs and other obligatory payments. Central Bank of Uzbekistan sets the rates without any obligations to purchase or sell currencies on these rates.
