The exchange rate of the US dollar reached 2,600 soums, growing by 5.51 soums compared to previous week to 2,601.06 soums.

The exchange rate of the US dollar to Uzbek soum rose by almost 179 soums or 7.37% (2,422.4 soums) since the beginning of 2015. The exchange rate of the US dollar to Uzbek soum grew by 9.9% in 2014.

The rate of the US dollar passed the level of 2,500 soums in the middle of April 2015.

Central Bank of Uzbekistan sets rates of foreign currencies to Uzbek soums for accounting, statistic and other reporting on currency operations, as well as for calculation of customs and other obligatory payments. Central Bank of Uzbekistan sets the rates without any obligations to purchase or sell currencies on these rates.
