Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A social network Odnoklassniki, together with METROTELECOM, has deployed CDN servers in Uzbekistan to help improve the quality of services for users of OK in the country. In particular, users will be able to watch videos, upload photos and listen to music at maximum speed, since the social network servers will be located in their region.

According to Odnoklassniki, the monthly audience of the social network in Uzbekistan is more than 2 million unique users, of which 25% are users in Tashkent. Among other cities where the most OK users live are Samarkand, Andijan, Ferghana and Bukhara. The core of the audience is young people from 18 to 30 years old.

Odnoklassniki have been operating their own hardware-technical CDN solution since 2014. CDN nodes are located both in Russia and in the CIS countries with the highest user activity. Uzbekistan became the ninth country where OK implemented this technology.
