Nurmat Atabekov: ARVI situation in Uzbekistan remains stable
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Reports circulating on social media about a surge in acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI) in Uzbekistan do not reflect reality, according to Nurmat Atabekov, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health.
“The current situation with seasonal respiratory illnesses in the country is stable, and there is no cause for concern. The peak of ARVI cases typically occurs during the autumn-winter and winter-spring seasons, but this is not a reason for alarm,” he stated.
