Number of UNISTREAM cardholders reaches 1m
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- International money transfer system UNISTREAM said that number of its unified client card (UCC) holders exceeded 1 million people.

The operator said that the 1 millionth cardholder became client, who cane to Moscow office of Master Bank, which is the partner of UNISTREAM. The corresponding awarding ceremony was held at the branch of the bank.

The programme on promotion of UCC started about a year ago, but it become popular among clients, the system said.

UCC decreases remittance registration and simplifies overall procedure, as well as processing of remittances at terminals. It is enough to type card number at QIWI terminals to send money.

Currently, UCC are used in Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldavia, Uzbekistan and Ukraine. The cards are also issued at Great Britain, Germany, Greece, Israel, UAE, and Cyprus.

UNISTREAM said that currently almost 65% of all remittances are carried out with the use of UCC. Over 80% of money transfers conducted with the UCC in Moldavia and Uzbekistan, slightly less than 80% in Armenia, Georgia and Kyrgyzstan, 76% in Tajikistan, almost 70% in Ukraine and 60% in Kazakhstan.

UNISTREAM President Souren Hayriyan said the 1 millionth cardholder is important milestone in promotion of the UCC. He said that the UCC became bright projects in the market and lift level of service to new level on quality and comfort ability.
