Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — According to data from the National Committee of Statistics, 88,600 citizens of Uzbekistan visited Türkiye between January and May 2025.

Compared to the same period last year, this figure rose by 24,700 people, or 38.7 percent.

The primary purpose of travel was tourism, with 67,036 citizens visiting Türkiye for leisure. In addition, 18,793 traveled to visit relatives, 1,252 for medical treatment, 798 for education, and 769 for business purposes.
