Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In connection with the entry into force of the Law "On Payments and Payment Systems", the Ministry of Justice introduced decisions for the state registration of the Board of the Central Bank on the abolition of a number of regulatory legal acts. Including:

1. Decree of the Board of the Central Bank dated 15 February 2020 No. 3/9 “On the recognition of the decision on the approval of the Regulation on the procedure for working in remote servicing systems for bank accounts, as well as amendments and additions to it”.

In connection with the development, at present, of modern technologies and the widespread introduction of systems for remote servicing bank accounts via telecommunication networks, this document has lost its significance. At the same time, the rules governing the relationship between the bank and the client are fully enshrined in the Law “On Payments and Payment Systems”.

2. Decree of the Board of the Central Bank dated 15 February 2020 No. 3/10 “On the recognition of the decree“ On the approval of the Rules for the organization of payment systems using public telecommunication networks ”as well as its amendment”.

These rules define the information security standards of non-bank payment systems, the requirements are detailed in Chapter 4 (Regulation of Payment Systems and the Payment Services Market) and Chapter 11 (Securing Information and Security in the Payment System) of the Law on Payments and Payment Systems. The decision to repeal this regulatory act was agreed with the relevant ministries and departments.
