Number of registered UZ domain exceeds 20,000

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Number of registered domain names in national zone UZ exceeded 20,000 point, the Administration of domain zone said.

The administration said that it took six months to reach 19,000 registered domains from 18,000. It took 2.5 months to reach 20,000 domains.

Arsenal-D (7,312), BILLUR COM (4,266) and Tomas (3,927) registered the largest number of domains. At the same time, legal entities registered 56% of domains and individuals – 44%.

It is worth to mention that UZ domain zone marks its 20th anniversary. The domain zone was registered on 29 April 1995.
