Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The number of mobile subscribers in Uzbekistan as of 1 July 2021 exceeded 27.5 million, the press service of the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said in a statement.

According to the ministry, the number of subscribers increased by 14.3% compared to the same period of 2020. As of 1 July 2020, 24 million subscribers were using mobile communications.

About 24.87 million mobile subscribers are individuals. Their number increased by 8.8% in the period under review.

The indicator of the provision of the population with mobile communications is 72 units for every 100 people.
