Number of issued plastic cards exceeds 20.05 million units

As of 1 October 2017, number of plastic cards, issued in Uzbekistan, exceeded over 20.05 million units, according to data of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan.

At the same time, commercial banks of Uzbekistan installed 231,516 POS-terminals and 5,434 ATMs and infokiosks.
According to the regulator, amount of payments made through terminals reached 40.48 trillion soums.
