Number of ISPs increasing in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Number of Internet service providers (ISP) is increasing in Uzbekistan, the Uzbek Agency for Communication and Information said.
The agency said the number of ISPs grew from 781 as of 1 January 2008 to 897 at the end of the first half of 2009.
As of 1 January 2008, the capacity of international channels was 362 megabit per second, while it reached 825 megabit per second in the mid 2009.
