Department of Federal Service on veterinary and phytosanitary supervision for Novosibir region (Rosselkhoznadzor) said that Novosibirsk Zoo sent a party of animals to Tashkent.

Two markhor, collared peccary, Cameroonian goat, raccoon dog, and two of three otters and two coati have been sent to Tashkent Zoo, the department said.

Veterinary control over export of zoo animals was held at a checkpoint at the border airport Tolmachevo by inspectors Rosselkhoznadzor in Novosibirsk region.

Export of zoo animals was performed in compliance with all the necessary requirements, said Rosselkhoznadzor.
