During the meeting, the Japanese guests were informed about activity and structure of automobile transport management, conducted work on development of automobile transport, introduction of GPS in buses, working in international routes.

The Japanese delegation highly rated activity of automobile transport of Uzbekistan and briefed about their mission, which is directed at studying on opportunities of introduction of intellectual transport systems in large cities of Uzbekistan, including Tashkent.

Representative of Nippon Koei Co., Ltd Satoshi Oyama said that the Japanese company visited Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Mongolia and Bangladesh. He said that the visit is aimed at studying public transport in Uzbekistan, including Tashkent.

He said that in the result of the visit, the corresponding report will be developed and provided to Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) for consideration.

During the meeting, the Japanese delegation presented their intellectual transport system, which is directed at optimizing transport flow regulation, decreasing impact of transport to environment, decreasing number of road accidents. The presentation showed efficiency of the system.

At the end of the meeting, the sides expressed their satisfaction and intention to establish close cooperation.
