NIPA delegation arrived in Tashkent on the occasion of Uzbek-Korea open source software development forum, the Uzbek Ministry’s press service said.

During the meeting, questions and the significance of open source applications, world experience were discussed. In particular, there has been the experience of the Republic of Korea in the use of open source softwares, implementing them in e-government and education. The sides discussed prospects of cooperation and expanding in this filed.

The guest was briefed on the state and prospects of development in Uzbekistan, e-government system and modern information and communication technologies in general.
