The law “On mandatory insurance of civil liability of transporters” came into force on 27 November 2015. The document sets requirements for insurance companies, which have right to conduct insurance of civil liability of transports.

As of 27 November 2015, four insurance companies – Uzbekinvest, Uzagrosugurta, Insurance Company Kafolat, Ishonch – complied with the requirements of the law and carried out insurance of civil liability of transporters.

Five more insurance companies carried out measures to comply with the law “On mandatory insurance of civil liability of transporters”.

As of 30 December, the list of insurance companies, which have right to carry out mandatory insurance of civil liability of transporters, includes Uzbekinvest, Uzagrosugurta, Insurance Company Kafolat, Ishonch, Kapital Sug`urta, Asia Inshurans, Universal Sug`urta, Alskom and Alfa Invest.
