Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan met with representatives of the delegation led by Abdelnasser Torki, Director for Agricultural Business Development of the Nile Sugar Company (Egypt).

Negotiations were held on an investment project for growing sugar beets and producing sugar products in Jizzakh region of Uzbekistan by Nile Sugar.

During the negotiations, information was given about the favorable environment created for foreign investors in Uzbekistan and the benefits provided to them for the implementation of investment projects in the agricultural sector.

During the negotiations, representatives of Nile Sugar expressed their desire to sow sugar beet seeds imported from Germany, the Netherlands and France on 50-60 hectares of land that will be allocated in Jizzakh region.
