The website said new excavators are used to develop Muruntau open-cast mine and they will help company to fulfill state order on realization of non-ferrous metals and provide ores to processing capacities of the enterprise.

The enterprise plans to develop off-balance ores, which are located 3-5 km away from loading points and there is no infrastructure of energy supply and use of hydraulic excavators is only effective way to develop fields.

Taking into account this, the company adopted decision to purchase two hydraulic excavators Hitachi EX 3600.

Official dealer of Japan’s Hitachi Construction Machinery, Turkuaz Dis Ticaret Ltd.Sti supplied new equipment to NGMK. The excavators are equipped with loading shovel bucket with total volume of 21 cubic meters.

NGMK received the first excavator in December 2009 and at the end of the month started to use. The second excavator arrived in early March 2010 and NGMK introduced it into production in April.
