NGMK launches unique cyclic and continuous technology
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Unique cyclic and continuous technology Ruda (CCT Ruda), created with participation of Novokramatorsky mashinostroitelny zavod (NKMZ, Ukraine), has been launched at the largest gold ore mine Muruntau of Navoi Mining and Metallurgy Combine (NGMK, Uzbekistan).

Head constructor of mining and press-forging equipment of NKMZ Yuriy Lavrenko said that NGMK awarded NKMZ with diploma for their contribution to designing, production, assembly and launch of complex, which has no analogues in the world.

CCT Ruda, which was launched at NGMK, makes revolution in open mining of natural resources at deep mines, where it is difficult to use large vehicles. Use of large vehicles decrease profitability of mining companies at the depth of mines over 150 meters.

CCT Ruda solves this problem. The complex includes steeply inclined conveyor KNK-270 with the capacity of 3,500 tonnes an hour. The conveyor can take up ores under age of 37 degrees to the height of 270 meters. Currently, existing conveyors have maximum angle of 18 degrees.

The use of the steeply inclined conveyor will allow NGMK to refuse from 16 dump-body trucks with load capacity of 190 tonnes and increase depth of Muruntau mine up to 1000 meters. It will also increase productivity of trucks by 30% due to decrease of transportation distance and decreasing height of cargo load.

CCT Ruda also includes suppressor- stacking conveyor with the capacity of 3,500 tonnes per hour, which is another invention of the Ukrainian enterprise. The suppressor- stacking conveyor allows load ores to boxcars and warehouses.
